The geometry of the board game is another distinguished facet of the cartoon. For example, nearly 200 years of white advancement takes only 3 spaces on the white side of the board. The same time frame gives the black side of the board a significantly longer path, totaling nearly 8 spaces. This was included by Horsey to elegantly signify that blacks have been historically plagued with numerous momentous obstacles while whites have breezed through whilst on the backs of struggling Native Americans and blacks. Some apparent features of the geometry of the board are the lines Horsey creates. Over on the African American side, the path to the end of the board is in no way straight. It is curved in a way that takes up almost 80% of the real estate on the cartoon, which represents that black history goes back far and is fairly complex. On the other hand, the white side of the game is totally different. It is a straight shot, including 2 actual moves.
